This may be the strongest form of prayer: asking the Lord to act for the sake of his own name. What is God’s name? It is his reputation in the universe and beyond. We get to be part of that great declaration. How? By calling to God for help and being rescued by him, as one of our own athletes has said, over and over (and over and over and over, etc.) again.
